DECA PREPARES EMERGING LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS IN MARKETING, FINANCE, HOSPITALITY AND MANAGEMENT IN HIGH SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES AROUND THE GLOBE.
This Co-Curricular student run organization is an Association of Marketing Students and one of the largest student organization on our campus! All students taking any of the Marketing Courses and/or Economics & Personal Finance Course at KGHS are eligible for membership in DECA. Dues of $30 are paid by September 30th for the full year's membership, which includes participation in all activities and events, including Conferences and Competitions, DECA Day at the Virginia State Fair, the Washington Wizards, and Kings Dominion, community service and leadership activities, fundraising projects, scholarships, and more.
You can fill out your STUDENT MEMBERSHIP FORM HERE Membership dues are $30 and can be turned in to your DECA Advisors at school - Dues are accepted in cash or check form made out to "King George High School" with KG DECA in the Memo.
KG DECA also accepts membership from DECA Alumni from any school and Professional members, typically business owners, supporters, & parents in King George and beyond (form below)

The purpose of DECA is to provide learning opportunities for students through goal-oriented Chapter activities. The focus of these activities is to develop greater understanding and appreciation of marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and entrepreneurship as well as grow the students' soft skills for workplace readiness in any setting. These activities contribute to occupational competence by promoting greater understanding and appreciation for the responsibilities of citizenship in our private and free enterprise system.
